Edwin Tsui, a Canadian trance producer, transitioned from being a longtime club DJ and event promoter to music production with his first release on Black Hole Recordings in 2020. Co-founding the Soundcation music production retreats with Dennis Sheperd, Yelow rapidly advanced his skills and networked with experienced producers. His music has been supported by industry giants like Markus Schulz, Roger Shah, and Ferry Tayle. In 2020, two of his tracks were featured on the prestigious “In Search of Sunrise” compilation (volume 16). He also took on an A&R role managing the Magic Island label. Known for his energetic, uplifting style and exclusive reworks, he gained recognition in 2021 with Roger Shah, hitting over 4 million Spotify streams and two tracks on the A State of Trance top charts. In 2022, his bootleg remix of “Swing 2 Harmony” was a standout at the Luminosity Beach Festival. Edwin has already collaborated with Susie Ledge, a UK-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist, on a couple of Roger Shah’s Sunlounger remixes. As the lead vocalist for ‘Sunlounger Live,’ Susie co-wrote and performed on seven tracks on the acclaimed album ‘Sunsets & Bonfires,’ which topped the iTunes chart in the US and reached #3 in the UK. Susie has also collaborated with Tritional, David Forbes, and Alex Cruz and gained momentum thanks to Armin Van Buuren, Ruben De Ronde, Aly and Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and Andrew Rayel. A new track, “Solitaire,” under the In Trance We Trust label is the result of Yelow and Susie Ledge working together again. Susie’s vocals layered over Edwin’s instrumental perfectly and led to creating an ethereal trance odyssey filled with driving basslines and uplifting melodies. The song reflects longing for someone far away or deceased and expresses hope for a reunion whether through closing distance or in the afterlife.
