Ralphie B, also known as Midway, Alpha Breed, or First State, stands out as an exception. Ralph Barendse, the Dutch music producer, has maintained his true essence as a music creator throughout his extensive career. Collaborating with trance giants like Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, and Paul van Dyk, he gained recognition and respect from major labels such as In Trance we Trust, Armada, Vandit, and Ministry of Sound. Ralphie’s distinctive sound has made him a sought-after remixer for artists like Armin van Buuren and Solarstone, while also having his tracks remixed by Paul van Dyk and others. Ralphie is responsible for timeless trance classics such as “Massive,” “Monkey Forest,” and “Amazon,” the last of which was remixed and magically recreated by Sean Tyas earlier this year.
A few months back, Ralphie B collaborated with fellow Dutch producer Frank Waanders, acknowledged by multiple labels such as Black Hole Recordings, FSOE, and Nocturnal Knights. Frank, who debuted at festivals like Nature One and Luminosity Trance Gathering, also witnessed his tracks with Ralphie B featured on Armin van Buuren’s A State Of Trance radio show. In September of this year, Ralph and Frank initiated a project called “Colide 1,” resulting in three successful and globally recognized tracks to date: “Neuroshock,” “Clarity,” and “Zero Day.”
Presenting Colide1’s fourth release today—a remix for the incredible RAIGN’s “When It’s All Over.” RAIGN, an English singer, songwriter, and record producer, eagerly approved Ralph and Frank to remix the track, incorporating her original enchanting vocals. Soon after the track was complemented by uplifting beats, euphoric melodies, and soaring synths, wrapped all in strong emotions. “This is what happens when you bring two trance guys together from the east and west of The Netherlands.
